For nearly 20 years Neil Affinito has been providing quality service, parts, and accessories to the ATV industry. In 1978, Neil expanded 4-Wheel Drive Specialists, a shop that specialized in Jeep, truck, and off road race car suspensions, to include ATC parts and service. In 1983, American Honda enforced their exclusive rights to the name "ATC" and hence the name ATV Specialists was born.

An off road racer since '79, Neil was one of the first to pioneer the road leading to custom fabricated suspension that worked for the ATV. Opening the '81 season, he designed and built the first extended swingarm for the Honda ATC 250R. Four years later, in '85, he developed the first set of extended a-arms for the Suzuki LT250R, and in '86 unveiled a set for the then released Honda TRX250R. The logic involved in the engineering and geometry of each setup produced quality results which established ATV Specialists championship reputation as durable and reliable fabricating that couldn't be beat.

ATV Specialists didn't stop at the drawing table, they took their work to the races. From the SCORE Baja 1000 to Mickey Thompson, their suspension setups left the competition doing double-takes. By '91, Neil was custom fabricating nationally as well as internationally, and made a lasting impression in Europe in '92 & '93 when he left undefeated racing pilots with Phillip Charles Leisure.

By May of '96, ATV Specialists expanded by opening a separate fabrication shop location, ATV Racing Manufacturing and Distributing in Phoenix, AZ to meet the national and international demand of their product. Ultimately, in March of '97, with mail order on the rise, Neil sold the local retail outlet, ATV Specialists, and began operating ATV Racing exclusively.

Neil is able to spend more time on product design and development, coming up with a new revolution in duning and off road racing: The Tazcar. One year later, ATV Racing moved into its newest facility, more than doubling it's work area, allowing for even more and better products on the horizon, constantly staying one step ahead of the competition.
